TECHNOSANGRAM    DIARIES.. PART 1

prologue: OK.. for an intro,,  TECHNOSANGRAM   is "THE"  biggest National level techfest conducted by the students of Goa College of Engineering. It is organised by a body called ASSETS ( Association of E & TC  students ).

And the third year students of the E& TC class from its council every year.

I happen to be the treasurer of the ASSETS council for the year 2010-'11 and the responsibility was on our shoulders this year. I had seen TECHNOSANGRAM from the first year ( when pushkin forced me into BIZCORP ), in 2nd year when we handled PROTOTYPE and BCZAR.

And finally it was the year when I was a part of the core organising committee, Huge responsibility!

And a huge event consists of many steps towards its completion.. so let me take you through this mega event of my life in steps.. thats why diaries.. and this post happens to be its first chapter  :)   :)   :)

It started out towards September end last year.. i.e. in 2010.. when we sat together and finalised the dates for the event.. 17th, 18th, 19th Feb 2011... yes.. TECHNOSANGRAM was being stretched to three days for the first time..we had zeroed in on around 25 events.. we cited reasons like more events, less congestion, allowing participants enough time to participate in all events of their choice by ensuring that most of them didn't overlap.. aaaannnd.. after a few usual formalities of promising to compensate for missed lectures and stuff like that.. we got a 'go ahead' from the faculty and princi for the biggest event we had handled till date!!

following the permissions.. we took a break.. our sem exams were approaching and we decided to get back to our geek mode.. so .. the thought process took a break only to return back to form post exams in december.. this phase.. well.. explained in the next post!
